It's like for me, I know that recovery isn't an option… like it just isn't going to happen unless I'm in a body that I'm able to be okay with -- like gender-wise and so... so yeah, being, you know, more masc presenting, I guess, to the world is definitely way better for my eating disorder drive. Like, I... I don't know, I'm not like... cured of having an eating disorder. I knew that it wasn't ever going to be that simple, even though I did like... portray it that way because of like... this mistrust society has of trans people to actually know what they want with their bodies. I had to basically convince providers that if I was given access to hormones, I wouldn't have an eating disorder anymore. And like, I knew that wasn't true, but also, I had to tell them that so that they would approve me to get hormones.
